This time we will meet twice!
The Ljubljana Summer Wine Route will take place on Saturday 18th June 2022! The autumn gathering will take place as part of the Ljubljana St. Martin’s Day on Saturday, 12th November 2022!
This year, the Ljubljana Wine Route will traditionally take place on two dates.
Now in its 10th year, the Summer Wine Indulgence is timed to coincide with the start of summer, when visitors will have the chance to taste light wines and tasty bites just before the start of their holidays and at the end of school.
The Ljubljana Summer Wine Route will take place on 18th June in the streets and squares of Ljubljana’s city centre, where every year around 70 winemakers from all Slovenian wine-growing regions and a wide range of culinary outlets are showcased. More than 5,000 visitors will have the opportunity to try 350 wine samples and delicacies from local culinary artists.
The second edition of the Ljubljana Wine Route will take place in November, when the organisers announce the Ljubljana St Martin Festival, which will take place on 12th November, also in the city centre of Ljubljana. The wine and culinary events Wine Indulgence and Culinary 2022 will culminate at the 24th Slovenian Wine Festival, which will take place on 17th and 18th November at Cankarjev dom. Ljubljana Wine route starts at 10.00am and ends at 20.00pm.
How it works:
The Ljubljana Wine Route is free of charge for visitors, and vouchers will be available as a means of payment for tasting wine samples, which can be purchased at the Wine Route ticket offices.
Tasting glasses (souvenir) will be available for purchase at the ticket offices.
The programme
The Ljubljana Wine Route will also be enriched by members of the Vodice Brass Band, young dancers from The Artifex dance school and wine queens from all of Slovenia’s wine-growing regions.
