LJUBLJANA WINE ROUTE IS COMING TO THE CITY CENTRE

Once again, the streets of the old city center of our capital will be flooded with joy, a noble drop, the flavors of local cuisine and majority of wines from Slovenia. We invite you to the Ljubljana Wine Route, which will take place on the streets and squares of old city centre in Ljubljana. See you on Saturday,  November 9th at the traditional St. Martin’s day in Ljubljana.

HOW IT WORKS:

The Ljubljana Wine Route has a free entrance for visitors, but coupons will be available as a means of payment for tasting wine samples, which can be purchased at info points of the wine route. Souvenir tasting glasses will be available for purchase at the info points.

Martinovanje in Ljubljana is part of the November Gourmet programme, which this year gives emphasis on women in culinary.

WINEMAKERS FROM ALL OF SLOVENIA

The wine route will spread across Prešeren’s Square, Mestni Square, Stritarjeva Street, Cankarjev Embankment (Cankarjevo nabrežje) and between a total of 80 stalls, among which there will be local and foreign top winemakers, culinary providers and other providers of information and experiences for visitors. Visitors will be able to choose from more than 350 different wine samples for tasting from local winemakers from all wine-growing regions of Slovenia.

CULINARY

Culinary delights will be provided by vendors with their savory and sweet delicacies.

RICH CULTURAL PROGRAMME

Many performers will ensure that the event on the Ljubljana Wine Route will also be a real cultural experience.
